Michael Healy’s Dog Knockers are handcrafted using the age-old art of bronze foundry casting. A handmade mold is used just once then broken open given each Dog Knocker its own individual character. Each Dog Knocker is treated with a rich, dark patina then hand-polished to bring out its realistic details. Finally, it’s coated with a clear lacquer to protect its original finish. In order to confirm its authenticity and quality craftsmanship each Dog Knocker has been signed by artist Michael Healy.
